El Test

We are often faced with dilemmas that can turn our lives upside down forever. This is what happens to Héctor and Paula, a middle-class married couple struggling financially, when Toni, one of their closest friends, presents them with a personality test created by Berta, his current partner, a successful and high-profile psychologist. The question is simple: would they rather have one hundred thousand euros right now, or one million in ten years? Simple, yet incredibly difficult. The choice facing the couple seems straightforward: settle for a small fortune immediately, or wait ten seemingly endless years to earn ten times as much. What begins as a hypothetical scenario, a simple personality test, will gradually strip away the characters’ personalities and deepest secrets, forcing them to put a price on their principles and, ultimately, pushing them to make a life-changing decision. Perhaps forever.
